Organized to Save Time, Money and Space

Organizing has always been a passion of mine. When I was a little girl I recall sitting at my desk and organizing all of my hair care stuff so that it was easier to find the bow or headband that I wanted to use.

This innate desire to organize went to a new level when we moved into our home three years ago. As we started doing DIY projects and organizing all the rooms I decided to catalogue before and after photos with the hope of doing something with them "someday". Well…today is that “someday”!

Let me be real with you: Today my house is not spotless 24/7 like you might see on Pinterest. In fact, right now sitting beside me in my office there is a couch covered with boxes full of things I need to sort through (don't worry it is on my ‘to do’ list). I do strive to make the main areas of our house function properly for our family. That is what I hope to inspire others to do with their homes. We are aiming for progress not perfection!

I'm excited to start sharing what we have done in our home to organize so we would save time, money and space.

TIME:

Time is such a precious commodity: if we waste it, we can’t get it back. What I hope to inspire others to do through this blog (and my channel) is to teach how being organized can save time. Time that could be better invested into important relationships. My hope is to help you avoid the frustration of looking for your keys or wallet. I want others to have time to read or pursue their dreams. Follow along and learn how you can build some systems that will save you that precious time.

MONEY:

"Live like no one else, so later you can live like no one else." - Dave Ramsey

This has been such an integral part of our journey to live ‘debt free’. When Jared and I married we had a significant amount of dept between the two of us. We knew from early on in our marriage that we did not want our debt to define us! We wanted to tackle it head on and pay it off quickly. This however meant we needed to make some sacrifices and remain disciplined and organized. Not only do I hope to inspire you to break free from debt but I hope to show you ways that you can organize or decorate your home on a budget.

SPACE:

Before we moved into our home, we lived in a 900 square feet apartment for six years. It wasn't the biggest place (especially the kitchen) as I could hold my arms out and touch all of the counter tops. We learned to make the most of the space we had. I hope you don't feel like you cannot function in your home if you don't have 4,000 square feet to work with! I want to show you how you can utilize whatever space you have and make it functional for your family.

Thank you so much for checking out my blog! I'm excited about this new venture and hope that you can learn something that you can implement into your living space.
